One
The wonderful texture they create....Two
They make you want to hug your work...
Three
Their promise of many more loops to come...
Because for sure... Loops are addictive. So expect more to see of them here in the future. ;-)
Thanks for your kind visit. Have a lovely day!

So cute! Nice weekend :D
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSending me loopy with joy! Love the ombre effect.
ReplyDeleteCrochet chart is in the App store by the way - sorry! Your hand drawn one is so much nicer though.

Ah, that explains why I couldn't find it! ;-) Thank you sooo much for your kind words!

Wow! I have to say I always thought loops were messy-looking, but this has totally changed my mind and I too now adore loops! I love it when someone shows or tells me something unexpected and I do a complete turnaround regarding my opinions. It makes life so much more interesting!
ReplyDeleteHello Emma Louise, Thank you so much for your kind words. I agree, the sharing of ideas and inspirations makes blogs and social media such a wonderful place!
DeleteThanks again!
Love the loops... they look so tactile and squishy. I knitted a lion for a little person which called for a knitted loop mane. Took me an age to work out how to do it but the result was fairly mane-like!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Squishy is actually a good description - plus, I really like that word! ;-) I can imagine this stitch works wonderful for lion manes!
DeleteI love the loop stitch too! Check out my loopy sheep tea cosy design at www.woollychicdesigns.co.uk
ReplyDeleteI just did and I love them! Really cute, thanks for sharing.
DeleteAwesome effect! I like color combination too :)
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, happy you like it!
DeleteThey are pretty indeed!
DeleteSuper gorgeous! Love the colors you're using too; really can't wait to see more of this project! Marinne xx
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you like it and I will definitely share more if it here as the project grows. xh
DeleteI have a rug pattern I've been wanting to make but it uses the loop stitch which I have never used before so I've been procrastinating - your post is inspiring me however so I think I may just pull it out and get started. Thanks....
ReplyDeleteThank you! And I'm actually planning to make a rug with this stitch too! I think it would work great for a rug! And I already have a nice chunky yarn in mind. ;-) I'd love to see your rug. Happy crocheting!
DeleteZiet er prachtig uit! Fijne week verder!
