Row after row. Still struggling a bit with the colours.
It's not that I don't like them, but there's just so much contrast... ;-)
I think I will make another giant granny in my 'own' colours.
However, first have to finish this one!
Have a nice day!

PS. My hands are not as gigantic as might seem from the picture, lol.
it's only the throw that's giant. ;-)
Het zijn inderdaad heel andere kleuren dan dat ik tot nu toe van je gezien heb.. maar de sprei wordt wel mooi!
ReplyDeleteit is lovely, one of my favourites, but working with 'random' colours can be difficult, so many decisions to make! Heather x
ReplyDeleteI like it! I think it is good to work outside your comfort zone when it comes to colour every now and then. I did it last year with a throw made to look like a stormy autumnal sky and very few people liked it, but it is now one of my favourite blankets.
ReplyDeleteKleuren, daar kan ik zo mee worstelen. Maar ik vind deze wel mooi hoor!

I really like it!!!

I still love this a lot but understand the need for using own colours. I am struggling with the same at the moment and decided to create a shawl rather than a throw as the colours are just not singing the way I would like it to. Love the pic with the hands - super nice!
ReplyDeleteIt is looking rather gorgeous, I love making giant granny blankets x penny
ReplyDeleteI loooove it! It will be great!

Out of character, butlovely, Haafner.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors as always!! Have a lovely day! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be one beutiful and colorful blanket :-)

The blanket is coming along so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI do love the shadow picture, very clever....Could you imagine if you did have giant hands...What size hook would you need and imagine how quickly afghans would be accomplished! :D
wow! what a beauty this will be....
ReplyDeletewow - that is gorgeous !! Love it :O)
ReplyDeleteIt is really lovely. I always think that if you use a palette that's not your usual, it's always hard to feel completely sure about it. But take everybody's word for it......it really is looking good! xxx
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the colours in this blanket. I LOVE this blanket. If you ever have a chance to tell us what yarn you used that would be great.
ReplyDeleteThe colors you picked are very interesting and cocordinate well. I think of making one blanket like this as it's simple and doesn't involve a lot of mental work.
ReplyDeleteHello!! I'd like to know how you started the giant granny blanket at the photos I can't see it. Thank you very much for inspiration!! Ester
